Step 1: Contact us

Step 2: Site visit.
Viewing the land you plan to build your custom home on helps J.C. Anderson’s expert builders better understand your vision, while advising you the most cost-effective strategies and ways to minimize site impact on your beautiful land. Using only the most efficient materials and construction methods, J.C. Anderson is the expert at maximizing your custom home’s natural views. Our expert builders work with your land to place the house to maximize your views of New Mexico’s breathtaking lands and skies. Your custom home will be designed around what your property has to offer.
Step 3: Design your home.
J.C. Anderson has built relationships with some of the most experienced design professionals in the greater Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas. With many years of combined custom home building experience, our expert builders work with home designers to put your vision on paper. This custom plan is the road map J.C. Anderson’s detail-oriented builders will follow to form your home’s foundation, frame its walls and install every view-enhancing window. From floor to ceiling, this plan will incorporate all the finishing touches you desire in your dream home.
Step 4: Construction loan and home financing pre-approval
With many years of combined construction experience, the expert builders at J.C. Anderson take your budget into the utmost consideration when designing and building your custom home. Our team has valued relationships with New Mexico’s most reputable lenders. We build and remodel in New Mexico and recommend local lending partners who understand the construction and housing marketing in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Corrales, Rio Rancho and the East Mountains. J.C. Anderson’s expert builders highly recommend having your custom home plan’s appraised and submitted for financing pre-approval.
Step 5: Project estimate submitted for review and approval
Your custom home vision is now a plan on paper and has received a construction loan and home loan pre-approval. J.C. Anderson will review the plans you’ve approved with the design professional, create a detailed list of custom home finishes — all the bells and whistles you desire — and submit the construction budget to you for review and approval.
